Job Description

The Bursar is the chief financial officer of the University and is responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day to day administration and control of the financial affairs of the University.


Candidates must possess good honours degree/Higher National Diploma in Accounting from a recognized University plus twelve (12) years relevant post-qualification experience, eight (8) of which must be in a University. In addition candidates must possess final certificate of ICAN/ACA/ANAN/ACCA or other relevant and acceptable professional qualifications. He must be computer literate with working knowledge of relevant accounting packages.



Job Description

The candidate carries out oversight responsibilities of the finances of the University and he is directly responsible to the Vice Chancellor in the performance of his duties.


Same as (1) above but ten (10) years post-qualification experience will suffice.



Job Description

The director of Works and Physical Planning is a senior management officer of the University and is directly responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day to day planning supervision and maintenance of University projects and other infrastructural facilities of the University.


Candidate must possess a B.Sc./HND in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Construction. The candidate must possess professionally recognized certificate with current practicing licence as well as not less than ten (10) years post qualification experience. The candidate must have eight (8) years of relevant experience in a senior management position within the University. Candidate must be registered with relevant professional body such as COREN, ARCON, QSRBN or CORBON.

The candidate must be computer literate with a working knowledge of relevant packages.



Job Description

Candidate shall be responsible to the Registrar for the day to day administration of the affairs of the assigned unit and allocated duties. The candidate shall also serve as Secretary to Committees and Boards of the University as may be delegated to him from time to time by the Registrar.


Candidate must possess a good degree from a recognized University with at least twelve (12) years relevant post qualification experience eight (8) of which must be in a University. Candidate must have served for at least three (3) years in a position not below Principal Assistant Registrar in a University.

 Possession of a higher degree (including a Ph.D) will be an advantage. Membership of recognized professional bodies such as ANUPA, NIM, CIPM or other recognized professional body will be added advantage.

The candidate must be computer literate.


 Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for the formulation and implementing guidance and counselling activities in the University for both staff and students. The candidate will be responsible to the Vice- Chancellor for the day guidance and counseling activities.


Candidates must possess a first degree in Guidance and Counselling with ten (10) years post qualification experience at least eight (8) of which must be within the University. Higher degrees and membership of recognized professional bodies will be an advantage.

 Candidate must be computer Literate.

The conditions of service approved by the Governing Council and the Board of Trustees, are similar to conditions obtainable in the Federal Universities. The conditions are contained in the University’s Conditions of Service for Senior Staff and Memorandum of Appointment.
