VISITOR TO JABU
Pastor Elijah Howard Lajuwomi Olusheye is the Visitor to JABU. Pastor Olusheye was born in Igodan-Lisa in Ondo State of Nigeria. After successfully completing his Secondary School education, Pastor Olusheye was divinely called to the church ministry where he studied under our father, late Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola (of blessed memory), between 1954 and 1959. Pastor Olusheye worked briefly as a field evangelist, attended the CAC Theological Seminary between 1962 and 1964, and was duly ordained a pastor in 1964.
Pastor Olusheye got married in 1962 and worked as a pastor and evangelist for some years. Between 1972 and 1976, Pastor Olusheye proceeded to Canada where he studied Theology and History in several accredited Theological seminaries and universities for his degrees. Between 1976 and 1991, he piloted the Sunday School as a new project in the CAC, and became the National Sunday School Superintendent. Pastor Olusheye was made a DCC Chairman between 1991 and 1993, and the General Superintendent from 1993 to 1997.
In June 1997, Pastor Olusheye became the President of the Church till 2012. Pastor Olusheye is happily married with many children. he is the author of ''A Short History of the Apostolic Church, Revival Edition.
