You will recall that the University Management had a meeting with parents of students who were sanctioned for violating University regulations.

 At that meeting the Management agreed to mitigate the sanctions of rustication given to the students on the conditions that the students would:

  1. attend counseling sessions with the University Counsellor;
  2. participate in community work and rehabilitation programme; and
  3. pay the sum of N 50,000.00(for students placed on one semester rustication) or

N 75,000.00 (for students placed on two semester rustication).

 At that time, the Management had planned to hold these programmes for the students on Campus. However, in view of the recent incident on Campus, the University Management has decided that the Rehabilitation Programme will take place on two campuses of the Christ Apostolic Church Seminary. The Babajide School of Prophets and Evangelists, Ilo, Ilesa, Osun State and C.A.C. Theological Seminary (Women Campus), Ede, Osun State, have been selected for the programme that would be effectively managed by the authority of the seminary and our own Staff.

 Each student participating in the Rehabilitation programme is therefore expected to pay the sum of one hundred thousand naira (N100,000.00) that would cover the cost of feeding, accommodation, lecture materials, security, resource persons and letter of discharge.

 The Management is not only aware that parents had paid the sum of N 50,000.00/ N 75,000.00 as earlier decided but also noted the reality of the economic situation of the country, nevertheless, the decision to take the students outside  the campus is taken in the best interest of the students and the University at large.

 Consequently, parents are requested to pay the balance of their ward/child money on or before Friday, 10th July, 2019.

 I wish to reiterate that the date for the commencement of the programme is 15th July, 2019 and any student who fails to pay its outstanding balance on or before Friday, 10th July, 2019 would be deemed to have withdrawn his/her interest in participating in the Rehabilitation Programme. Consequently, the University would proceed to activate the earlier sanction imposed on such student.

 The University Management regrets whatever inconvenience this decision might cause parents but noted that the decision would be in the overall best interest of the students.
