Who Oversee Our Affairs
The Principal Officers oversee the academic, business and student affairs of the university. Together with the Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and other members of the management, The Principal Officers tenaciously keep faith with the vision of the founding fathers of the university.
The current Chancellor is the dynamic Professor Anthony Olusegun Adegbulugbe, a distinguished scholar in energy planning and management in Nigeria. Other principal officers include Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan (The Pro-Chancellor), Professor O.A. Fakolujo (The Vice-Chancellor), and Professor A.A. Eludire (The Deputy Vice-Chancellor), Mr Dapo Adeniyi (The Registrar), Mr E.A. Onilado (The Bursar), and Dr J.A. Kolawole (The Deputy University Librarian).

What Events Shape Us
Established in 2006 and approved on 8th February 2006 by the Federal Executive Council, Joseph Ayo Babalola University received its license of operations on 6th March 2006 and was opened to students for the 2006/2007 academic session on 25th October 2006.
Established in 2006 in obedience to divine instructions by the Christ Apostolic Church and under the visionary leadership of its then President, Pastor (Dr) E.H.L. Olusheye. The President of Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor S.O. Oladele the Chairman of our Board of Trustees provides overall direction, with invigorated and renewed spiritual and financial commitments to the university.
The university’s first Chancellor was His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Oladele Olashore (CON). Until his demise in June 2012, he laboured sedulously in various ways to positively advance the course of the university.
