The Bursar

Mr Ebenezer Adeyemi Onilado is a certified accountant with 39 years of experience and has held various key positions in both public and private educational institutions. He started his career at Lobi Bank (1985 – 1990) before he moved to Eko International Bank (1990 – 2002). He joined Olabisi Onabanjo University in 2003 as a Senior Accountant and rose through the ranks to become Chief Accountant before leaving in 2012. Right after, he joined McPherson University in 2012 as the Acting Bursar for 2 years before becoming the first substantive Bursar of McPherson University in 2014. He left the services of McPherson University in May 2024 before becoming the third substantive Bursar of Joseph Ayo Babalola University in June 2024.

He obtained a BSc in Accounting from the University of Ado Ekiti, now Ekiti State University, an MBA from Olabisi Onabanjo University, and a Master’s degree in Accounting from McPherson University.

Mr Onilado is a member of the Institute of Bankers, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Accountants, and a Fellow of the  Institute of Corporate Administration.
